Greetings!

Today, April 5, 2017, marks the one-year anniversary of BLF Press's first release, Lez Talk: A Collection of Black Lesbian Short Fiction. So much has happened with Lez Talk over the past year, including profiles on the Ms. Magazine blog, Huffington Post, and meeting so many of you while we were on tour with the book.

When I started BLF Press in 2014, I wasn't sure what direction our work would take, I just knew that I wanted to create a space where Black lesbian and queer voices would be honored, and it was my good fortune that our first title was a cacophony of Black lesbian literary voices. Since then, we've published another anthology, as well as my collection of short stories, and we've got more exciting work on the horizon.
