A few months ago, Lauren Cherelle and I were interviewed by journalist and writer Catalina Sofia Dansberger Duque. We talked at length about our individual work as owners of indie presses, and about our collaboration on BLF Press's first title, Lez Talk: A Collection of Black Lesbian Short Fiction. Over the past week, excerpts from that interview were published on the Huffington Post website and Ms. Magazine blog and I'd like to share them with you. We are so grateful to Catalina for sharing our work and our vision. Now, more than ever, we need spaces where women of color can tell their stories on their own terms.
